Are you looking for a way to make money blogging, but typical blogs bore you after a few weeks (or days) of posting? Maybe hosting a blog radio show is a good option for you. I’m about to kick off my own first blog radio show (with BlogTalkRadio) tomorrow evening, and have some monetization ideas that may be useful to you:

1. If you go with a host like BlogTalkRadio, they take care of monetization for you to a degree, and split the revenue with you (for example, sharing money earned from your show page - like the example I linked to above).
2. You can further monetize your blog radio show on your own. Just set up your own blog or website/page for your show, which you’re hosting yourself. Include detailed show previews, guest profiles, show transcripts, archive files, your call-in information, news about your show, your schedule, and anything else relevant to your blog radio show. Then, monetize that blog or site like you would any other site: ads and sponsors, selling related products (your own or as an affiliate), etc.
3. Work audio ads into your blog radio show, whether they’re pre-recorded or live announcements you make to mention your sponsors. You could have one company or person sponsor your show in exchange for mentioning them at certain intervals, have companies pay you to run on-air contests or giveaways for them with your listener-base, or simply have pre-recorded “commercials” from various advertisers that you’ll play during your show.
