Throughout 2007, I’ve been selling specialized PLR business article packs as an experiment to show Web writers a potential additional income stream. That project is now coming to a close.

Around the first of the year, my PLR business article packs will be no more. I’m completely pulling them off the market at that time.

To prepare for that (and to push some sales at the end), I’ve doubled their initial value by decreasing the maximum limit of buyers from 100 to 50. As of today, I’m also “clearancing” the article packs at half price until the end of the year.

At that point, I’ll be shutting down the domain (FirstRateContent.com) to make way for a new site there, and the articles won’t be available any longer (from anyone as I don’t offer resale rights to keep a certain level of exclusivity), whether or not all 50 copies of each set have been sold.

So far I’ve only really “advertised” the clearance sale in one webmaster forum (DigitalPoint), and had the first sale from it within minutes. I’ll be advertising it on a few others between today and tomorrow to hopefully get these packs moving before the end of the year.

So that’s the update for today, on the close of one of many projects.
